A sixth plate daguerreotype of Victorian industrialist and ironworks owner Francis Crawshay by Claudet, taken c.1850.
He was the master of the ironworks in Hirwaun, Wales and later lived in Kent.
The front of the case reads, 'Claudet's Daguerreotype Process, Adelaide Gallery, Strand.'
